Ava: What’s a Monday with you? It’s going to be a pretty cool week on Shut Up and Sit Down Dot Com and I’m here to tell you all about it.

This Week On Shut Up & Sit Down…
Tom: Hello! How is everyone doing? In a reversal of fortunes since the last ‘This Week On Shut Up & Sit Down…’ post, I’ve garnered a copy of Frosthaven! This time I greeted the postman fully clothed! Hah! That’ll… show them?
We’ve got two absolutely fabulous weeks of content for you on the site this week to lead into the holidays with two incredibly HOT releases! Both sturdy Shut Up & Sit Down Recommends… what could they be? One is big, and the other is big! Both are games, and they feature boards! Both have cards, and one has dice! Knowing you lot, you will almost certainly guess ’em from those clues alone. Darn.
Podcast-wise, we’ve got Matt and Ava on this episode chatting about Libertalia and Oltree – two games that… well I can’t remember exactly what the thematic cohesion is there, but I’m sure they’ll have worked something out!
That’s all for this week – I’m busy sprinting the last bits of content out before nipping over to PAX Unplugged in… two days?! Oh my. What have you been up to, everybody?

Hi all! We’re off for the week getting a bunch of SHUX stuff nailed down and a couple team members are off on holiday, but have an awesome week, and enjoy exploring all the new GenCon releases, we’ll be dipping our toe in ourselves over the next couple weeks.
We also have SHUX previews coming next month for a bunch that we’re super excited to get hands on with, including Starship Captains, Turing Machine, Septima, Evergreen, Gutenberg, and Fit to Print!
If you missed it, make sure to also go give Ava some love on her awesome video last week on this year’s Kennerspiel winner, Living Forest!
See you next week!

Tom: Back at it again with yet another week in Shut Up & Sit Down! What’s on the tabletop-table over the next few days?
We’ve got a video! Maybe. Technical difficulties (as per usual) have meant that it may or may not make its way to you this Wednesday or Thursday! Stay tuned for that one, or just let it slide over when it fancies.
One thing that is a certainty is the podcast – where myself, Ava, and Quinns will be chatting about three games! We’re talkin’ trains in The Transcontinental, revisiting the Court of Miracles after it drowned its way out of the last podcast, and I will be letting loose some choice words about Draftosaurus.
That’s this week! What have you been up to, everybody?

Ava: Hi everyone, it’s (somewhat) Monday, and you know what that means, it’s time for us to spin the Disruptotron and find out what is making everything a little bit trickier than we’d like this week.
Wait, what does it say here…
This week on Shut Up & Sit Down…
Ava: Everybody ready for a happy new week? Well, for those of you who eagerly follow my absurd calendar antics, it’s not just that, it’s time for a Happy new year!! That’s right, the pre-Julian Roman year starts in March, which starts tomorrow, which means I can stop banging on about ‘the void period’ and start enjoying life! Well done folks, you made it through the hardest bit of the orbit. And we’re celebrating in style.
This Week on Shut Up & Sit Down
Ava: February: Why bother? Well, because it’s nearly the end of the voidperiod. February is shorter than January and by the end you can actually feel the days getting longer. Unless you’re in the other half of this big weird ball, in which case you must hate me for always banging on about the seasons. SORRY!
AwSHUX! The time is now!
Quinns: Hello! Is everybody ready for a three day board game party? We don’t have cake, gifts or music, but we do have board games, card games and (checks notes) even more board games!
The third ever AwSHUX, our free online edition of the SU&SD convention, starts today. Unconvinced? Don’t take my word for it – visit the official site RIGHT NOW and start exploring its many hype-filled chambers and unexpected offerings!
